Upsolve is an Eric Schmidt-backed social impact startup that helps low-income Americans get back on their feet following financial shocks. We do this through TurboTax for bankruptcy.

We're also funded by Blue Ridge Labs @ Robin Hood, Harvard, and the U.S. Government, which is supporting our 2018 national expansion. So far in 2018, we’ve erased $5,000,000 in debt for low-income Americans.

Here is an article on our work from the Wall Street Journal.

We're a five-person team based in NYC. Your future teammates have started past companies of their own, been featured in Forbes 30 under 30, and left lucrative careers at large law firms to work on a problem they care deeply about.

As a small team, there isn't a typical day at Upsolve. Everyday, we're focused on one goal: helping our users get a fresh start.

Skills and responsibilities

We expect our engineers to gain a deep understanding of our user needs. In our small team, you will have the opportunity to sit in on the filing process first hand and get to know our users. Due to the small nature, you will be building significant parts of the product from scratch. You will be able to work across frontend, backend, and dev-ops.
