The Institute for Community Alliances is a national leader in the administration of Homeless Management Information Systems (HMIS).  We have administered Minnesota's HMIS, the database that collects client-level data on homelessness in the state, since June 2016.  We are looking for a dedicated, hard-working, and passionate team member to join us as we work to realize the potential of HMIS in Minnesota.

The Minnesota office has less than 20 staff. You'll work on a team of 4-5, including remote staff. We've recently developed a product delivery plan, including QA and UAT, and have made great strides in the last 18 months since implementing our MN work.

We engage a wide variety of government stakeholders, support our internal team, and are Tier 2 support for a Helpdesk with over 1000 users.

Under the direction of the Reporting and Compliance Manager, and as part of the Reporting Team, the Reporting Specialist is responsible for creating and maintaining report templates and dashboards for use by ICA and HMIS stakeholders. The Reporting Specialist will maintain reporting responsibilities as ICA prepares to transition its reporting tool from ART (a version of Boxi, in an SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence SQL-based reporting platform) to Qlik (a data visualization platform).
You will have the opportunity to make a significant and lasting impact on our organization. There is some flexibility with this role. Given the contract nature of the position, we want to ensure that you gain transferrable skills through the creation of a set of deliverables for ICA.

Please send a cover letter, resume, and at least two references to Britt Heinz-Amborn, Minnesota HMIS Reporting and Compliance Manager, at You MUST submit both to be considered for the position. Candidates eligible for interview will be asked to submit a work sample.
