Description

The Partnership for Public Service is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization with a compelling mission: we are working to help make the federal government a more dynamic, innovative and effective servant of the American people, and we have a great team that helps make it happen. Our staff is diverse in experience and perspective, but at our core, we share a lot of the same traits. We are mission-driven, creative, collaborative, optimistic and inclusive.

Leadership is the most important factor influencing federal agency performance and government effectiveness. For government leaders to keep us safe, provide vital services and move the country forward, they need to develop their leadership and management skills.
We help the most promising people in the federal workforce develop into high-functioning leaders. We provide them with resources to solve our government’s most intractable problems, foster collaboration within and across agencies and spearhead innovation throughout government.

The Senior Manager will design, implement and manage all aspects of the AI cohort program, including developing its long-term strategy, setting goals and objectives, establishing metrics, developing and monitoring the program budget and driving results through program implementation. The senior manager will lead the expansion and execution of the AI cohort over the next three years to eventually reach 150 SES leaders both in the Washington, DC area and in other regions where federal employees are heavily concentrated and will also work across the larger enterprise--sharing information and insights, collaborating to solve problems, and effectively connecting the Partnership’s leadership and technology programming in support of our broader mission. We seek an experienced project manager with strong relationship management skills, a knowledge of artificial intelligence or emerging technologies in the federal government and the desire to lead a highly impactful program in a dynamic, growing organization.
