The Social Media Fellow will report to the Social Media Manager and will be part of the Audience team housed within the Community Department, whose mission is to build and engage the supporter base needed to effect policy change.
We are seeking a highly motivated fellow who is Social Media savvy and eager to learn new tools for data analytics. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Social Media, an interest in advocacy, and an enthusiasm for moving the dialogue forward on immigration and criminal justice reform.
Applicants should be able to work full-time on weekdays from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM PT in our San Francisco, CA, office for a 14-16 weeks starting Monday, September 16, 2019. The fellowship is paid.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Help build the social media reporting infrastructure:
Assist the Audience team in setting up tags, creating tag rules, and building social media reports based off of those tags
Build the keyword bank of everything we'll be tracking
Build supporters & opponents tracker and keep it up-to-date in all relevant tools
Research the latest trends in social media and content marketing
Work on data collection to quantify sentiment analysis
Analyze and report audience information and demographics, and assess existing social media projects
Propose new ideas and concepts for social media content
