We create the next generation of law enforcement software to allow law enforcement to better collect, share, and analyze information.


The Solutions Architect plays an important role on our Sales team. This role requires close collaboration with a number of different internal teams at Mark43.  Overall, our solutions architect will serve at the crossroads of many teams and be the glue that holds different stakeholders together as we continue to launch our product with public safety agencies around the world.  To be successful in this role, we expect our solutions architect to establish personal rapport with potential and actual customers, vendors, and other persons, which will allow for a deep understanding of technical requirements that will ensure the success of our product deployments to public safety agencies. This is a fully remote position with travel expectations. 


Teams you can expect to work closely with:


BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

  • Working together to respond to proposals in an effort to convert clients to in-person demos
  • Becoming an expert on specific technical considerations in regards to RFP requirements

SALES

  • Attending in-person demos and assisting in qualifying, demonstrating, and communicating the Mark43 platform’s technical value proposition to new customers
  • Providing support to Account Executives and SDR’s

TECH SERVICES

  • Gathering technical requirements necessary for successful migrations and integrations for new departments we work with

DEPLOYMENTS

  • Helping manage and execute new deployments and mitigating technical concerns as they arise from communications with our clients

ENGINEERING AND PRODUCT

  • Understanding and communicating the product roadmap to current and future customers
  • Inform the roadmap going forward

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications

What we expect from you:

  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of enterprise software sales experience and the benefits
  • Experience selling to Government and Public Safety Clients (ideally CAD/RMS)
  • Excellent technical writing skills and basic familiarity with the government procurement process (RFP/I/Q)
  • The ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to run and structure in-depth product demonstrations
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented, able to work autonomously
  • Ability to travel 25-50% with Account Executives to communicate technical value proposition
  • Demonstrated project management experience and the ability to build schedules and scope work
  • An understanding of the product lifecycle, from requirements gathering all the way to maintenance support
